About Us
Our mandate is to bring to our readership fine books relating to immigrants and immigration to Canada, the process by which immigrants become New Canadians, ethnic issues and history, multiculturalism, pluralism and Canada's fabled cultural mosaic.
We are a new publishing company incorporated in July 2003. We seek to publish works with insights into the human aspects which govern the relationships between newcomers and native born Canadians, and the interaction between the great diversity of ethnic and cultural groupings which make up our marvelous Canada.
We explore critical aspects of immigration such as the adaptation and integration of immigrants. We are intrigued by the emotions that may be involved in the harmony and hostility, consensus and controversy, that are part of the relationship between Canada and its immigrants.

This book deals with many issues covered by our mandate, such
as the difficulty of crossing cultures, the joy of being Canadian,
the education of immigrants, the mutual ambivalence between
some immigrants and Quebec's distinct society, and the place
of Muslims in North America as the "War on Terrorism" and
the "clash of civilizations" rage.
The author, Cherif Rifaat is himself a Muslim from the Middle-East.
Having coped with the many difficult demands of the immigration
process, he must now straddle the gap created by an understanding
of both sides of that ominous conflict.
